Terms and Conditions – LMC Platinum Cleaning


1. Bookings and Cancellations

  • It is the responsibility of the client to ensure LMC Platinum Cleaning has full access to the property at the agreed date and time.
     
  • If the property is not accessible, or the client fails to arrange key drop-off if they will not be present, the client will be charged the full fee of the scheduled clean.
     
  • If our team arrives and no one is at the property, we will wait a maximum of 15 minutes. If access has not been granted within this time, our team will leave and the client will be charged the full fee.
     
  • Clients must inform LMC Platinum Cleaning of any pets at the time of booking to ensure we bring the right equipment.
     
  • Once on site,  we reserve the right to cancel or refuse to complete the job if:
     
    • We deem the premises to be unsafe for our team.
       
    • The size and/or description of the property provided by the client is inaccurate or misleading.
       
    • There is no access to power and/or hot water at the property.


  • There is furniture present in the home (for vacate/end of lease cleans only)


  • If the clean isn't as described. Ie: Recent renovations resulting in lots of plaster dust and building debris that wasn't disclosed at time of booking 


 

2. Deposits and Payments

  • End of Lease Cleans: A $300 deposit is required at the time of booking, payable via bank transfer. The remaining balance is due upon completion of works.
     
  • Hoarder/Squalor Cleans: A $2,00 deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remainder due upon completion of works.
     
  • All invoices must be paid in full within 7 days of issue.
     
  • A late payment fee of $20 per week will be applied to all overdue invoices until payment is received.


  • Recovery Costs – If payment is not made on time, the customer will be responsible for any reasonable costs we incur to recover the debt. This may include debt collection fees, legal fees, or other expenses related to recovering the amount owed.
     

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must ensure that the property is safe, secure, and in a condition that allows our team to perform their duties effectively.
     
  • All valuables should be removed or securely stored prior to the commencement of cleaning.
     
  • LMC Platinum Cleaning is not responsible for any issues arising from inaccurate property descriptions or lack of access arrangements provided by the client.


  • Checking Our Work – For cleans that are not end-of-tenancy (e.g. pre/post sale, deceased estate), if you are present at the property, please check our work before we leave. We’re happy to fix anything missed at that time. Once you’ve checked and accepted the clean, this is considered final. If you choose not to check, acceptance is also final. Please note: as we offer to fix any issues on the spot, we do not provide refunds.
     

4. Liability

  • LMC Platinum Cleaning will take all reasonable care during cleaning services; however, we accept no responsibility for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items not securely fixed prior to service.
     
  • Any claims regarding service delivery must be reported within 24 hours of the completed clean to be actioned. Anything lodged after that time will be dealt with at our discretion. 


  • If a customer does not follow these terms (including not paying on time), they will be responsible for covering any reasonable costs we incur to resolve the matter, such as legal fees or debt recovery expenses.
